On March 5^th, YWCA Hamilton honoured the trailblazing women in their community by celebrating their incredible achievements by hosting their 44^th annual 2020 Women of Distinction Awards night.
 
This gala boosts nominated women who have excelled in their fields and recognizes workplaces that practice and promote women’s leadership and equal advancement opportunities in the workforce. Over 1000 guests such as honourees, sponsors and event attendees enjoyed an evening of cocktails, a silent auction, dinner and awards.
 
This year’s event raised over $227,000 with proceeds supporting critical services for women and children in the Hamilton area such as affordable child care, employment training and health and wellness- to name a few.
 
YWCA Hamilton used our new fully mobile-responsive Ticketing module and Content Management System to create a beautifully branded event website utilizing unlimited content pages, drag-and-drop content blocks and colour pickers.
 
Founded in 1890, YWCA Hamilton is known as one of Hamilton's original social innovators and works from a client-centered and anti-racism, anti-oppression framework. They strive to not only support but strengthen women’s and girl’s voices and provide crucial services to promote inclusive and equitable communities.
