CampaignsTwo P2P Events That Think Big and Look Great!
By Natalie Good
As many of us begin to cool down with the Autumn breeze, United Way London & Middlesex and Covenant House are just warming up. This November marks two of their biggest and most-exciting peer-to-peer campaigns; each challenging the participants to take on substantial fundraising goals and exciting physical demands. Using our Pledge and Multi-Pledge modules, both of these organizations have designed events that are motivational and cause-reflective by using strong imagery, graphics, and colour. We are proud and honoured to showcase these great events!
United Way London & Middlesex: Scotiabank StairClimb for United Way
The annual Scotiabank StairClimb for United Way is a major fundraising initiative for United Way London & Middlesex that has raised over $2 million in donations since the event's inception. Using raisin’s Multi-Pledge module, over 2000 participants get donations to support United Way funded programs before taking the final steps on
November 5th… up One London Place, London’s tallest building! To celebrate its 20
th anniversary, this year’s event will be marked with a 90’s throw-back theme that has been incorporated well into the pages of their raisin site. Can you kick it?
Covenant House: Sleep Out Toronto
On
November 19th participants will join an exclusive group of Toronto’s top business and community leaders (including some familiar names like Amanda Lang and Belinda Stronach) to spend a night on the streets raising awareness and critical funds for the Covenant House. By engaging in this unique experiential event, participants are exposed to the hardships that homeless youth in the city have to endure on a daily basis. Leading up the event, those involved use the features of the participant centre in raisin’s Pledge module to fulfil their commitments to raise a minimum of $5000. All to benefit Covenant House Toronto programs directly and helping those in need.
